# Trademarks

The code in this repository is released under the **MIT License** (see
[`LICENSE`](LICENSE)). That licence covers the **code**. It grants no rights
to the following, which are **not** licensed:

- the names **FEDEM**, **FFS**, **FSON**, **fson**, **fson-check**, and any
  other project or product name used by Fehmi Demiralp (FEDEM);
- the FEDEM / FFS / FSON logos and other brand assets;
- the domain **fedem.eu** and its subdomains.

You may use, modify and redistribute the code under the MIT terms. If you
publish a modified version, do not use these names or logos in a way that
implies it is the official project or is endorsed by FEDEM — **rename your
fork**. Nominative use ("a fork of fson", "reads the FSON format") is fine.

"FSON" also names the *file format / notation* documented at
<https://fson.fedem.eu/notation>. The notation itself is free to implement;
this section is about the name and the branding, not the format.
